That SCREAMS kyd to me. Also I just love this movie/song.

This is one of my ALL TIME FAVORITE MOVIES! Definitely top 5 at least! Actually, top 3. But like... no one's heard of it? The people who have watched it generally seem to love it. It's just kind of under the radar. I would encourage anybody who comes across this video to give the movie a try.

As far as vidding goes, I was definitely well into college at this point. Vidding had become more sparse and skills weren't growing at as fast of a rate. I also didn't know back then (and wouldn't know for quite some time) why ripping dvds lowered the quality so much for me. Because of low video quality and those darned quick crossfades, this is another one I'm tempted to redo, but that is a slippery slope. I have hundreds of video ideas. Save the redos for the ones that really need it.

Because this film is so underground, I also had yet to discover the flurry of amazing Kill Your Darlings vids that already exist out there. I have since found SO many VERY incredible ones, some of which are incredibly popular and have made the movie more popular, especially among the lgbtq film community! In my head, at the time, I was filling a void. I even got one of my favorite tumblrs (that featured Kill Your Darlings content) to promote and feature the video. So I was SO proud of it. I know now that there are plenty others that are way better, so this is nothing special for the vidding world, but it is special to me.
