Simple song. Simple video. Not a simple couple, but, I tried to keep some of the darkness out of this.

Throwback to the first time I tried to vid something other than Harry Potter! I'm extraordinarily passionate about Skins on a cinematic level, and Freddie and Effy were in many ways my favorite pairing.

Looking back on this video is difficult for the same reasons I struggle to look back on my older Harry Potter videos - transitions. Just scene after scene after scene cut together with very quick fades. There's nothing smooth about it at all as far as the viewing experience. The satisfaction in making it really comes down to the way the scenes match the lyrics.

This may be my favorite Bridgerton-related season? And Corey Mylchreest?? What a charmer. There are a lot of wonderful videos out there that focus on the drama and tragedy of his madness. This a powerful exploration of the weight of mental illness and the stigma, horror, fear, and sadness it carries.
